The stages of fixed brace therapy at Orto Nova
Initial consultation and diagnosis
We begin with an introductory conversation, 3D digital impressions, and X-rays to analyze your bite, facial anatomy, and the position of the jaw and mandible.
The orthodontist will explain the treatment plan, how to maintain good oral hygiene, and what to pay attention to during therapy.
Placement of the Orthodontic Appliance
The placement of fixed braces is painless and takes about 45 minutes. Self-ligating brackets are bonded to the teeth and connected by a wire that gently moves the teeth into the desired position.
Check-up Appointments
Check-up visits are scheduled every 8–12 weeks to adjust the wire according to the movement of the teeth. On average, the treatment lasts 2–3 years.
